Meet the lunch lady inspiring Elgin students with art

Kathy Steurer doesn't fit the lunch lady stereotype. The food service employee at Ellis Middle School in Elgin Area District U-46 also hopes to inspire the students she feeds with the paintings that cover the walls of the school cafeteria.
