Reporter Carl Bernstein to lecture at Bradley in April
PEORIA, Ill. (AP) - Investigative reporter and author Carl Bernstein is scheduled next month to deliver a lecture on seeking the truth at Bradley University in Peoria.
The free talk on April 14 is titled "Seeking the Best Obtainable Version of the Truth" and will take place at the school's Hayden-Clark Alumni Center.
Bernstein and fellow Washington Post journalist Bob Woodward broke the Watergate story for the Washington Post in the early 1970s. Their reporting eventually led to the resignation of President Richard Nixon and is often credited with setting the standard for modern investigative reporting.
Since then, Bernstein has written five best-selling books and worked on several multi-media projects. He's also is a contributing editor of Vanity Fair magazine.
