Candidate deserves consideration

Having met three of the four candidates for the village board, I believe they are all nice and motivated people. However, only three of the four are endorsed by the Daily Herald,

I understand that Paul Roscoe is a volunteer firefighter and how that could be a conflict of interest if he were involved in any fire department-related business. However, he is still a viable candidate who deserves the same opportunities as the others.

We have to give the man a shot to make a name for himself and put himself into the spotlight of the public, or else we will just think of what could have been.
