LEADING OFF: Alex Rodriguez goes on the road for 1st time

A look at the highlights of what's happening all around spring training in Florida and Arizona today:

___

A-ROD'S ROAD

Alex Rodriguez is scheduled to play a road game for the first time this spring. No telling what kind of reception he'll hear from Blue Jays fans when the New York Yankees face Toronto in Dunedin, Florida. Rodriguez has mostly drawn cheers from the crowds at the Yankees' camp.

BRUISED BUC

Pirates center fielder Andrew McCutchen will see how he's feeling, a day after he was a late scratch from the lineup. The team said he's got soreness in his lower body, though it's not expected to be a significant problem.

ROBBIE RETURNS

All-Star second baseman Robinson Cano might be back in action for the Mariners when they play Arizona. Cano was back home in the Dominican Republic for most of the week after the death of his grandfather.

PITCHING IN

Rangers lefty Derek Holland is scheduled to make his spring debut, throwing one inning in a back-field 'B' game against San Diego. He's been slowed by stiffness in his left shoulder, one of several setbacks for Texas pitchers this spring.
