Library to Host Organ Donor Registration

Registration for organ donations will take place from noon to 4 p.m., Wednesday, March 18 in the lobby of the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd. A representative of the Illinois Secretary of State's Office will be available to answer questions and register potential donors.

Anyone with a valid Illinois driver's license or state ID is welcome to join the organ donor registry. Visiting the table to receive information and a giveaway item does not require identification. The organ donor program benefits the 123,000 United States residents of all ages who are waiting for life-saving transplants.
