Images: The sad faces of pets waiting for their 'forever home'
On a typical day, about 30 cats and dogs at the Naperville Humane Society are waiting for a new owner to come along and take them to their “forever home.” The shelter recently offered a glimpse into the animals' temporary home, where they might stay for a few days -- or a few years. Here's a look at some of the animals that were at the shelter during a recent visit.
