Believe Project: $100 to make greeting cards for seniors
Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Carol Robbins of Batavia.
Here is an excerpt of her suggestion:
"I have a list of senior citizens, people who are going through a trying period in their lives or someone who might appreciate receiving a communication from someone who is just thinking of them.
"I sent homemade greeting cards to them during different times of the year ... Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's, Easter (to those from my church family), Thanksgiving.
"I would like to put the $100 toward purchasing more supplies for making these cards and for postage for them."
• The Believe Project mails a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else.
