Hoffman Estates hosts event for families with special needs

The village of Hoffman Estates Commission for Disabled Citizens will host a series of presentations, vendor exhibits and hands-on experiences for families and individuals with special learning needs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 14, at village hall, 1900 Hassell Road in Hoffman Estates.

Presentations include "Technology for the Young Learner" at 10 a.m., "Technology for the Secondary Student" at 11 a.m., and "Technology for Everyday, All People" at noon.

Complimentary light refreshments will be served. This event is free, but participants should register by calling Sue at (847) 781-2606 or emailing suzanne.lessen@hoffmanestates.org.
