Seminar explores origins of Jesus:

Faith Lutheran Church in Lake Forest is sponsoring an opportunity for non-Christians and Christians to answer the question: "Did the Jesus of the Bible really exist?" This free seminar is 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, March 13, at the Gorton Community Center, 400 East Illinois Road, Lake Forest. Paul L. Maier, Russell H. Seibert Professor of Ancient History at Western Michigan University, will explore the historical and archaeological evidence for prominent figures and events in the Jesus story and correlate it with the non-Christian writings from the ancient world during a presentation.
