Grayslake history events:

The Grayslake Historical Society will present two public programs in March. On Saturday, March 7, at 10 a.m., the Reminisce session will focus on the exploration of the history of Lake Street and residents' recollections of life on that street. Residents, particularly those who live or have lived on Lake Street are encouraged to attend and share their memories and experiences in that neighborhood. During the historical society's annual meeting on Wednesday, March 11, at 7:30 p.m., there will be the reading of six World War I letters written by Grayslake soldiers. The six letters will be read followed by the biographies of the authors.
