19-year-old man fatally shot on Indianapolis' northeast side

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Authorities are investigating after a man was fatally shot outside a home on the northeast side of Indianapolis.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting Monday night and found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

In a news release Tuesday, the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department identified the man killed as 19-year-old Devonzae Jones.

The victim's name and a possible motive in the shooting haven't been released by police.

Anyone with information related to the shooting is asked to call Indianapolis police.
