Strong finance knowledge, enjoy working with people and I favor challenges, willing to work hard and have fun doing it.What is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales and property taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.Taxes are high in relation to the income of our residents. Town is land locked but still makes money with the businesses we have.Rate the efficiency of your town's police and fire coverage. Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? Do you have specific public safety concerns?Our police and fire depts are top notch. Our Chief's in charge are long term and know the needs of our community. I feel our public safety is covered, I'm concerned about safety of the officers.Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?I've been out of office for two years as far a trimming the budget I would need to review a P/L statement along with an actual budget. I would like to see a better Public Works building with better equipment on the street. I've always favored public works but the Village's reputation reflects by what is seen by the residentsWhat's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?Working with our business owners and rebuild the structures on main street. Our business owners are hard workers, if we could find a grant to rebuild or donate, the potential is endless. Both parties are forecasting to complete main street, but we need something to attract the public's eye.What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?Candidate for this office must realize it can be unrewarding at times, a thank you is rare. You have to want to do this. Its a team effort if you fight each other nothing gets done. I made mistakes in my 9 years as a trustee and I learned from them. I'm still proud to live in Round Lake Park and I want to be part of this administration.Please name one current leader who most inspires you.Scott Walker Gov of Wisconsin a man with a can do attitude.What's the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?You can survive without a father but it's much better having two parents in your life.
