Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.I feel that our taxes are just right based on the current economy. The Village only raises taxes by the necessary amount, not by the permitted amount.Rate the efficiency of your town's police and fire coverage. Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? Do you have specific public safety concerns?I feel both departments are efficient and, having worked closely with both, feel they our departments provide above average services to our residents. I do feel that we need to increase technologies within the departments to keep up with upcoming changes. No specific public safety concerns at this time.Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?I do not have sufficient information of the budget that will allow me to answer at this time.What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?There are many good ideas currently being talked about to better the community. I would like to see us find ways to help low income residents that may also have run down homes, be able to better their properties, which in turn makes the community a more desirable place to live for potential home buyers looking in our area.What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?- To keep taxes as low as possible - To ensure that we continue to keep proper levels and efficiency of our public safety departments - To promote our community to attract more local businessesPlease name one current leader who most inspires you.None currentlyWhat's the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?You need to earn what you get and if you work hard almost anything is possible.If life gave you one do-over, what would you spend it on?Would have spent more time doing the things i enjoyed while growing up.What was your favorite subject in school and how did it help you in later life?Math was my favorite subject. It helped me get into the financial schooling but has also helped immensely with my management career.If you could give your children only one piece of advice, what would it be?Work hard in school and follow your dreams. Nothing is out of reach.
