Also the dedication I have towards making this community a better place makes me the best candidate for this job. I will make sure to vote for ordinances that best suit this community. I want to help make Round Lake Park a safe and loving community.What is your opinion of your community's present level of local sales and property taxes? Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.I would like to see the property taxes in line with the home values.Rate the efficiency of your town's police and fire coverage. Are the departments well prepared for the next decade? What, if anything, should be changed? Do you have specific public safety concerns?The police and fire departments in Round Lake Park are very professional, caring, and hard working. I do believe we need more police officers and firefighters in this community to ensure everyone's safety.Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?I don't know that answer, but if I am elected in office I will make it a priority to be informed on it.What's one good idea you have to better the community that no one is talking about yet?One good idea I have to help better the community is, to make sure we continue to have great police officers around to help keep this community a better place.What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?Gang and drug related incidents are really important to me. I would like to do anything I can to make them stop. This community needs to continue to grow in a Positive way. I want people to know that we do care about their opinions and will take their ideas into consideration and make sure we keep this community a strong, positive, and safe place for our children and for ourselves.Please name one current leader who most inspires you.The Round Lake Park Police Chief.What's the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?Family matters, and family will always be there for you no matter what.If life gave you one do-over, what would you spend it on?I would go back and re-do the time I went to college, and make sure this time I graduate with a degree.What was your favorite subject in school and how did it help you in later life?My favorite subject in school was History. History helped me to stay updated on current events.If you could give your children only one piece of advice, what would it be?Follow your heart and make sure you do what makes you happy.
