Columbus police say man dies after SUV strikes guardrail

COLUMBUS, Ind. (AP) - Columbus police say a 47-year-old man from that central Indiana city was killed Sunday when he was partially ejected from an SUV after it left the road and struck a guardrail.

Police Sgt. Matt Harris tells The Republic (http://bit.ly/1AKXiBL ) police are continuing to investigate the accident that occurred about 11:42 a.m. Sunday in the southbound lanes of U.S. 31. Michael Garber was pronounced dead at the scene.
