Authorities investigate death of 30-year-old West Baden man

WEST BADEN, Ind. (AP) - Indiana State Police are investigating the death of a 30-year-old southern Indiana man, saying the cause of death is not known.

Police say Franklin McCracken was found inside his home in West Baden, about 100 miles south of Indianapolis, about 11:30 a.m. Saturday. McCracken was flown to the University of Louisville Hospital in Kentucky, where he died.

State police say investigators are awaiting the final results of the autopsy and other pathology testing before making conclusions regarding McCracken's death. Those tests should be completed this week.
