Mundelein High to host college planning night

Members of the Mundelein High School guidance department will host a College Planning Night in English and Spanish on Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium and cafe at the school at 1350 W. Hawley St. College-bound students and their parents/guardians are invited to attend. Angie Cooksy, associate director of admissions at Bradley University will cover topics about the college application process, essay writing, what colleges are looking for, etc. Maria M. Sostre, college readiness program coordinator at the College of Lake County will present the topics in Spanish. Nicole Liddle from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission will also be available to answer questions.
