Quigley signs multiyear deal to stay with Sky

Allie Quigley, the WNBA's Sixth Woman of the Year last season, is staying put in Chicago.

Quigley, 28, signed a multiyear contract to remain with the Chicago Sky, team officials announced Monday.

Quigley dominated off the bench in 2014, leading the Sky in scoring during a team-high nine games. She also led the team in double-digit scoring performances, scoring in double figures on 21 occasions.

"Allie's shooting accuracy, combined with her improvement off the bounce was instrumental in our run for a title," said Sky head coach/GM Pokey Chatman. "I'm ecstatic to have another veteran presence, with an unmatched work ethic on board."

Last season Quigley set new career-highs and ranked in the top 10 in the WNBA for free-throw percent (.879) and three-point percent (.387). The 5-foot-10 guard averaged 11.2 ppg, 2.2 rpg, and 1.9 apg.

The six-year pro was born and raised in Joliet, and graduated from DePaul University. Currently, Quigley is playing for Wisla Can-Pack Krakow in the Polish League where she is averaging 14.8 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game alongside Sky teammate Courtney Vandersloot.
