Believe Project: $100 for an end-of-year party for poor students
Today's winner of a $100 bill through the Believe Project is Jackie Beegun of Lake Zurich.
Here is an excerpt of her pitch:
"I teach fourth-grade students who come from next to nothing. Many of these children come to school hungry. I would like to use the $100 to provide these children with an end-of-the-year party to show them they have believers in them being achievers!"
• The Believe Project mails a $100 bill each day to someone with a good idea for how to use it to do a good deed for someone else.
