PAOK beats Veria 3-1, stays 3rd in Greek league

ATHENS, Greece (AP) - PAOK scored all of its goals in the first half and coasted to a 3-1 victory at Veria in the Greek league on Saturday.

PAOK remained third in the standings, eight points behind leader Olympiakos, and two behind second-place Panathinaikos. The two top sides meet on Sunday at Panathinaikos.

Veria was eighth in the standings.

Also, Panthrakikos vs. Panetolikos ended in a scoreless draw, and Kalloni beat Giannena 1-0.
