Program at Discovery Museum:

Young children can learn about Chinese new year traditions Wednesday, Feb. 25, in a program at the Lake County Discovery Museum near Wauconda. The activity is set to run from 10 to 11 a.m. at the museum, which is in the Lakewood Forest Preserve. Participants will make dragons to take home, too. The activity is open to children between the ages of 2 and 5 who are with adults. Admission is $6 for adults and $2.50 for kids. To register, visit lcfpd.org or call (847) 968-3321.
