Cary-Grove 56, CL Central 21: The third-seeded Trojans (12-15) made quick work of the sixth-seeded Tigers in a resounding Class 4A Grant regional quarterfinal win in Fox Lake. Abby Getka led C-G with 12 points and 5 rebounds while Katie Barker added 11 points and 4 rebounds. The Trojans, who raced out to a 33-6 halftime lead, featured 12 different scorers with at least 2 points which allowed them to advance to Wednesday's semifinal against Fox Valley Conference Fox Division co-champ and No. 2 seed Prairie Ridge at 7:30 p.m.
