Health care enrollment events in Des Plaines and Wheeling through Sunday

Residents will be able to enroll in federal health insurance at special events scheduled through Sunday at libraries in Des Plaines and Wheeling.

Get Covered America is hosting enrollment events from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, at the Des Plaines Public Library, 1501 Ellinwood St., and Indian Trails Library, 355 Schoenbeck Road in Wheeling. Sunday is the open enrollment deadline under the Affordable Care Act.
