Grand Opening of the Compass Cafe

The Compass Church is excited to open our new Café at the 95th Street Campus which will benefit those attending our church and the local community. Mayor George Pradel will officiate the ribbon cutting ceremony and local leaders will also be in attendance. The Café will offer visitors to the building a comfortable and welcoming lounge area to relax in, free Wi-Fi, and refreshments for purchase (including free trade coffee). The Cafe will have another positive effect by donating a portion of its sales proceeds to the Compass Church's Justice Initiatives.

Over the past year, our 95th Street Campus has been providing Neuqua Valley students a comfortable place to study (with free Wi-Fi). Now, these students and people visiting other businesses located in this building (e.g., Governor State University, Naperville Park District, Young Life) will feel welcome in our relaxing lounge area where they can now purchase free trade coffee and other refreshments.

The Compass Church extends compassion to the at-risk, the vulnerable, and the exploited peoples of the world through its Justice Initiatives. Now, with a portion of the proceeds from the new Café (and proceeds from our Justice Market Store), we will make even more of a difference in the lives of those Here, Near, and Far.
