Rauner salaries are change, all right

Gov. Rauner states, Illinois public employee compensation is among the highest in the nation. He references these jobs and government pensions as unsustainable and a big cause for the poor financial condition of Illinois. Every campaign is bloated with ridicule of the nonworking mooches.

Get a good education and work "real" hard; we can earn our way to financial independence. I phoned the governor to ask for a list of good jobs worthy of good pay. The governor was too busy, but an aide informed me there was no list of good jobs, so I consulted the media. The paper reports, "Governor promises competitive salaries for (his) advisers."

The governor's top staff is paid much more than Quinn's staff. The governor dismissed criticism about the pay for his wife's chief of staff - $100,000 a year with zero experience.

It appears there is a list. A list of entitlement for those who serve the (already) wealthy. Not on the list are; Saving lives as a paramedic (more than $40,000 national average salary), police protecting (more than $53,000), saving a burning house (more than $43,000) and the national average starting teachers' salary is less than $37,000.

These "nonessential" jobs are "busting" Illinois?

New governor in Madiganville!

Same noise when asked to represent the voters. "You (we) misunderstood." Bruce will shake up Springfield; Big changes. Change - did you mean for a dollar? Same 47 cents for a dollar we got with the last half-truth teller.

I'm just sayin'.
