Vernon Hills Park District to host craft beer tasting

The Vernon Hills Park District is hosting its second annual craft beer tasting event from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21, at the Sullivan Community Center, 635 N. Aspen Drive, Vernon Hills. Several area breweries will have samples of their ales, lagers, and stouts. Live music will be performed and food available for purchase. Participants receive a free tasting glass with each ticket. Participants must be 21 years or older. The fee is $30 through Feb. 14 and $35 thereafter, if not sold out.
