26-year-old woman found shot dead in Indianapolis alley
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - The Marion County coroner has identified a woman found shot dead in an Indianapolis alley.
The Indianapolis Star reports (http://indy.st/1yf8UHt ) that Coroner Alfie Ballew says the victim is 26-year-old Amanda Hartley. Police found her body early Tuesday while responding to a report of a body in an alley. Authorities say someone on their way to work called police.
Ballew ruled Hartley's death a homicide and says she suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Investigators are trying to find out when Hartley was killed.
