Hoffman Estates hosts seminar for disabled citizens

Learn how a Microboard - a formalized group of advocates and providers for individuals with disabilities - can offer a solution for independent living, job opportunities and future planning.

The Hoffman Estates Commission for Disabled Citizens will hold a special presentation featuring Nancy Brown of the Illinois Association of Microboards and Cooperatives from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at village hall, 1900 Hassell Road in Hoffman Estates.

There is no child care for this event. Light refreshments will be served.
