Washtenaw County sheriff's office spokesman Derrick Jackson says investigators believe a drive-by shooting may have occurred following some type of altercation between a current and ex-boyfriend. One of the men later reported shots being fired.
The two children in the home have been turned over to relatives.
A relative of the victim tells the newspaper that she was the mother of twins.
