1 man killed, 1 injured in separate snowmobile crashes
DETROIT (AP) - A man has been killed and a second man injured in separate snowmobile accidents.
WILX-TV reports Sunday that a 34-year-old man from Columbus, Ohio, died after his snowmobile hit a parked truck Saturday night.
The man and a friend were snowmobiling near Devils Lake in Lenawee County, about 70 miles southwest of Detroit.
TV station WPBN-WTOM reports that a 35-year-old man was injured when his snowmobile hit a snowbank about 4 p.m. Saturday on Lake Cadillac, about 35 miles south of Traverse City.
The man was thrown from the snowmobile. Authorities say speed may have factored into the crash.
