Eastern Indiana man gets 98 years for murder, robbery
RICHMOND, Ind. (AP) - An eastern Indiana man who pleaded guilty in the death of a 48-year-old man during a robbery has been sentenced to 98 years in prison.
The Palladium-Item reports (http://pinews.co/1DQ6SCz ) 20-year-old Robert Campbell was the last of five defendants charged in the 2012 death of Michael Sekse in a shed behind his Richmond home. Wayne County Superior Court Judge Charles. Todd Jr. sentenced Campbell on Friday to 60 years for murder, 38 years for felony conspiracy to commit robbery and 14 years for felony conspiracy to commit robbery.
Campbell said he plans to appeal the sentence.
Jonathan Gray, David Lady, Montell Westfall and Matthew Allen all have been convicted in connection with the robbery and murder and were sentenced to prison.
