M/I Homes invites homebuyers to preview its newest Chicago-area townhome community, English Rows in Naperville, during a VIP Sneak Peek Party on Saturday, Feb. 7 at Naperville's White Eagle Golf Club, 3400 Club Drive.

The event, which is open to the public, will take place from 10 a.m. to noon.

It will be an opportunity for prospective buyers to see preliminary floor plans and exterior renderings, learn more about purchasing a home with M/I Homes, and discuss English Rows with an M/I Homes new home consultant. Breakfast will also be served. Sales in the community are expected to begin in February.

"English Rows is truly a hidden gem, tucked away in a great Naperville location and featuring beautiful surroundings with a traditional English garden at the center of the community, as well as views of a neighboring golf course," said Ron Martin, region president of M/I Homes. "We're excited to bring some special home designs to English Rows that will complement its unique setting, and our preview event will be the first opportunity for prospective buyers to learn more about what we have planned before we officially kick off sales."

Located on the west side of Route 59, just south of 103rd Street, English Rows is a previously developed neighborhood backing into the premier Tamarack Golf Club. M/I Homes will be building 37 new townhomes featuring distinctive architecture with a traditional style that is in keeping with the community's formal, manicured landscape. Four townhome floor plans from M/I's Victorian series will be available. Pricing will be announced in February.

"This is a one-of-a-kind community in Naperville, giving buyers the convenience of a location along the Route 59 corridor, but also the quiet intimacy of a smaller neighborhood," said Cheryl Bonk, vice president of sales and marketing for M/I Homes. "Buyers will also be charmed by the aesthetic appeal of English Rows, particularly the exterior details and materials in our Victorian series of home designs."

Bonk noted that M/I's Victorian series pairs classic architecture with the modern home features buyers want most, such as great rooms, eat-in kitchens, deluxe master suites and lower-level bonus rooms. The four plans will measure from 1,808 square feet to 2,643 square feet and will offer two to four bedrooms in a variety of configurations.

"Buyers will also be able to choose from a variety of beautiful upgrades and options in order to create a very individual, personalized home, which is extremely fitting within this community," she said.

Bonk added that buyers who purchase a home in the early stages of sales at English Rows will have their choice of prime locations within the community, including home sites that face the formal English garden.

"The garden has a reflecting pool, statues and seating areas interspersed throughout the grounds, and it is all in a traditional, symmetrical layout," said Bonk. "It creates a lovely view for the homes surrounding it, but the garden is also a wonderful amenity for everyone in the community to enjoy."

While English Rows is a quiet and scenic enclave, it is also convenient to multiple shopping districts along Naperville's Route 59 corridor. Likewise, the community is 15 minutes from shopping, dining and entertainment in historic downtown Naperville.

Residents are also in proximity to multiple neighborhood parks, including Frontier Park, Commissioners Park and Tall Grass Lakes, which offer playgrounds, sports courts and fields, and walking paths.

English Rows is within the highly acclaimed Indian Prairie School District 204 and is located just minutes from Neuqua Valley High School, Scullen Middle School and Peterson Elementary.

Homes at all M/I Homes communities come standard with the builder's industry-leading 30-year transferable structural warranty, which not only allows buyers to purchase with confidence, but also adds value if the home is sold in the future. All homes are also Whole Home Certified, an M/I Homes designation indicating the builder's superior approach when constructing homes. Upon testing, an M/I home will receive a more favorable HERS (Home Energy Rating System) score than an Energy Star-certified home, which can save buyers upwards of 30 percent on their energy bills. A lower HERS Index means lower energy costs, and on average an M/I home achieves a HERS rating of 60, considerably lower than other builders in the market.
