Video game ties cited in charges against dad of missing baby

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Prosecutors say an Indianapolis man accused of killing his 6-week-old baby told police strangers had abducted the infant and gave them descriptions of the suspects that matched the characters in a video game.

Willie Wilson was arrested Wednesday on a murder charge in the disappearance of his infant son, Delano. Wilson told police that two strangers abducted the baby Aug. 27.

Deputy Prosecutor Denise Robinson told The Indianapolis Star (http://indy.st/1D5uxA9 ) that the descriptions Wilson provided of the alleged abductors yielded sketches that were identical to characters from the video game "Grand Theft Auto."

A not guilty plea was entered for Wilson Thursday. He's being held without bond.

Police have not found the baby, but Robinson says prosecutors have ample evidence to try the case even without a body.
