Services for Rep. Nunnelee on Monday in Tupelo
TUPELO, Miss. (AP) - The funeral for U.S. Rep. Alan Nunnelee of Mississippi is scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Baptist Church in Tupelo.
Nunnelee died Friday at his home in Tupelo from inoperable brain cancer and complications from a subsequent stroke. He was 56.
Officials at W.E. Pegues Funeral Directors and Mississippi State University confirmed the funeral arrangements.
Visitation is 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Tori; two sons, Reed and Nathan; a daughter, Emily Nunnelee Thompson; and two grandchildren.
