Algonquin village board race now uncontested

Two candidates have withdrawn their candidacy, making the race of the Algonquin village board uncontested.

The names of Sandra Robertson and Kerry Stallard will not appear on the April 7 ballot.

That leaves three candidates - Debbie Sosine, Jim Steigert and John Spella - running for three, 4-year term seats.
