Grain higher, livestock lower
CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Thursday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.
Wheat for Mar delivery was unchanged at $5.11 a bushel; Mar corn was 3 cents higher at $3.8650 a bushel; Mar oats were unchanged at $2.81 a bushel; while Mar soybeans gained 4 cents at $9.76 a bushel.
Beef was lower and pork was lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Apr live cattle was .85 cent lower at $1.4780 a pound; Mar feeder cattle was 1.72 cents lower at $1.9500 a pound; Apr lean hogs lost 1.22 cents to $.6690 a pound.
