Wisconsin children's therapist pleads guilty in abuse case
WATERFORD, Wis. (AP) - A children's therapist in suburban Milwaukee accused of physically abusing an autistic boy has pleaded guilty.
Twenty-eight-year-old Stephen T. Jacobs of Wauwatosa entered his plea Tuesday. He earlier had pleaded not guilty.
Jacobs was accused of kicking and headbutting the 3-year-old boy during a home therapy session in the Town of Waterford on Dec. 14, 2013.
The criminal complaint says the boy's mother set up a camera to record the session. The complaint says the video shows the boy crying, and then Jacobs shaking him, head-butting him and kicking his head.
Sentencing is set for May 8. WISN-TV (http://bit.ly/1zQxiqa ) reports prosecutors said they will likely recommend two years in prison and two years of extended supervision.
