Apply for Elgin Twp. summer program grants

Elgin Township is offering grants for summer programs for at-risk youth.

Applications are currently available at www.elgintownship.com under "Supervisor."

Applications are due by Friday, March 13. It can be emailed to elgintwp@aol.com, dropped off or mailed to Elgin Township office, 729 S. McLean Blvd., Elgin, IL 60123.

If dropping off, remember to include seven copies of your application.

Elgin Township office hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.

Personal presentations are not necessary but are encouraged. Notify the office if you plan to do a personal presentation at the April 1 town board meeting at 6 p.m.

Grants will be awarded in April and funding available in May.
