Police seek help identifying Elk Grove attacker

Elk Grove Village police said Friday they're looking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted for questioning in an attempted criminal sexual assault.

Authorities said a male suspect entered a business near Higgins Road and Joey Drive at 8 a.m. Dec. 24 and attacked an employee. The employee was able to fight off the attacker.

The suspect was described as 6 feet tall, approximately 220 pounds and in his late 20s or early 30s with dark-colored hair and a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue/black hooded sweatshirt and dark pants.
