Elk Grove police target DUI this weekend

Elk Grove Village is among communities conducting special patrols this Super Bowl weekend cracking down on drunk drivers and seat belt law violators. "Drunk driving is completely preventable," said Sgt. Matt FioRito. "All it takes is a little planning. We want fans to remember that it's a choice, and the choice is simple. Drink or drive - but never do both. If you do, you will be arrested." The Cook County Sheriff's Police also are participating in the federally funded crackdown.
