Cargo plane slides off Ford airport taxiway; no injuries

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - Officials say no one was injured when a cargo plane slid off a taxiway at Gerald R. Ford International Airport in western Michigan.

Airport spokeswoman Tara Hernandez tells WOOD-TV (http://bit.ly/1Ll5ywx ) that the FedEx plane went off the pavement and onto grass Thursday morning at the Grand Rapids-area airport.

Hernandez says no other flights were affected, since the plane wasn't on a runway. Weather conditions were icy at the time.
