David Llorens scored a season-high 18 points, including a pair of 3-pointers, and Grayslake Central's boys basketball team stayed hot with a 72-59 win over visiting Woodstock in Fox Valley Conference Fox Division action Wednesday night.
Sam Ruhlmann added 15 points for the Rams (8-8, 4-2), who stretched their winning streak to a season-high four games. Grayslake Central also received double-digit points from Michael Benko (12) and Jack Beckman (11).
Grayslake North 63, Woodstock North 53: Aidan Einloth's 19 points led the host Knights, who won in Fox Valley Fox play for the second night in a row.
Grayslake North (10-7, 4-2) also got 12 points from Bobby Krebs. Einloth, Krebs and Dom DiProva (6 points) each made two 3-pointers for the Knights.
Wauconda 54, Round Lake 28: Ricky Sidlowski had 12 points, 6 rebounds and 3 steals, as the host Bulldogs won the North Suburban Prairie game.
Wauconda (10-9, 4-3) also received 11 points from Zac Lahrman. Ben Carlson had 9 points, 5 rebounds, 6 blocked shots and 3 steals. Bryan Nee (6 rebounds) and Dylan Latiolais each scored 8 points for the Bulldogs.
Round Lake (3-14, 1-7) was led by Cezar Rogers with 14 points.
Zion-Benton 70, Lake Zurich 66: Devonte Maynard's shot with 12 seconds left snapped a 66-66 tie, and the host Zee-Bees prevailed in the North Suburban Lake contest.
Lake Zurich (17-6, 3-5) led 44-34 in the third quarter but a 10-0 run by the Zee-Bees tied it.
"Too many turnovers by us in the second half," Bears coach Billy Pitcher said. "We need to make better decisions."
Lake Forest 61, Libertyville 32: Evan Boudreaux had 16 points and 14 rebounds for the host Scouts in the North Suburban Lake game.
Jabari Quigley's 15 points paced Libertyville (10-9, 3-5).
North Chicago 67, Grant 57: Jacob Hanlin scored 20 points, including four 3-pointers, for the Bulldogs in their North Suburban Prairie home loss.
Grayslake North 70, Hampshire 57: On Tuesday night, Eli Atwater scored 19 points to lead three Knights in double figures.
Grayslake North, which improved to 9-7 and 3-2 in the Fox Valley Fox, also received 13 points from Lucas Buckels and 11 from Aidan Einloth. Bobby Krebs, who hit a pair of 3-pointers, and Dom DiProva each finished with 8 points.
