Cary-Grove 51, McHenry 45: The Trojans bounced back from a 3-game skid with a Fox Valley Conference Valley Division road win. Senior Jason Gregoire led the way with 13 points while Cary-Grove (9-9, 2-3) as a team sank 20 of 29 from the free throw line. Danny Schmidt also added 12 points as the Trojans were without Trevor Ruhland, who was lost for the season after the Notre Dame-bound linemen suffered a torn meniscus in last Friday's loss to CL South.

North Shore Country Day 57, Elgin Academy 39: Dee Robinson (14 points) and Jordan Hare (10 points) each scored in double figures for the Hilltoppers (1-9, 0-5), but it wasn't enough in an Independent School League loss.
