Geneva High dance team to compete at state competition this weekend

The Geneva High School Varsity dance team will be defending their title as state champions in the Illinois High School Association Dance 2A division in Bloomington, Illinois, this weekend.

The team will be competing Friday, January 30 and if they qualify will move on the compete Saturday, January 31 with the top ten teams in the 2A division.

The Geneva High School dance team brought home the title of state champions in 2014.

The dance team has been doing very well this season, winning the title of Upstate Eight Conference Champions as well as taking second place in the IHSA Sectionals last weekend in Blue Island.
