Dayton airport director resigning for Milwaukee airport job
DAYTON, Ohio (AP) - The Dayton International Airport director is resigning to take the job of aviation director at the General Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.
The city said in a release Tuesday that a nationwide search will be conducted to find a successor for current director Terrence Slaybaugh (SLAY'-bah). Slaybaugh was named airport director in Dayton in March 2011 and has overseen large-scale renovations at the facility.
The city says the airport's business development manager, Regina Holman, will serve as interim director until Slaybaugh's successor is named.
Officials will consider internal candidates for the director's position, as well as candidates from outside the facility.
