She's having trouble with the curb cuts
When curb cuts were added to many sidewalks back in the 60s we were told they were to assist disabled persons. Recently someone got the bright idea to add "cobblestones" to them which I found difficult to maneuver and I would try to walk around them.
Since I was not disabled I supposed this was an added convenience to someone who was.
Now they seem to be all over the place, even in local malls. Recently after an accident I had to start using a walker and let me tell you, the cobblestones are extremely difficult to traverse. I find them downright scary!
Whom are they benefiting? Does anybody find them helpful?
