Graphic novelist will visit Arlington Hts. library
An award-winning graphic novelist will be at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library this week to sign copies of his book and answer questions from readers.
Gene Luen Yang, National Book Award nominee and Printz Award winner, will hold a talk and book signing at 7 p.m. on Thursday in the marketplace at the Arlington Heights Memorial Library, 500 N. Dunton Ave.
Yang will discuss "Boxers and Saints" and describe how he started his two-volume graphic novel project about the Boxer Rebellion. He will tell readers about his research and how he transformed historical events into graphic novels.
The event is free and open to all ages.
