Oakton board holding closed meetings on president's job

The Oakton Community College board of trustees is holding a series of closed special meetings to discuss who should replace retiring President Margaret Lee. The board met at 12:30 p.m. Friday, and is meeting at the same time Saturday, as well as at 10 a.m. Sunday and 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28.

The meetings are being held in Room 1746 at the Des Plaines Campus, 1600 E. Golf Road, to interview prospective candidates for the job, the board said in a news release. No official action will be taken during these meetings.
