Crash victims identified as father, son

TOWN OF FOREST, Wis. (AP) - Authorities say a Sheboygan Falls father and his 4-year-old son are the two people who were killed in a highway crash in Fond du Lac County.

Thirty-seven-year-old Christopher Wachter and son, Landen, died Wednesday afternoon when their car was struck head-on by a semi on Highway 23 east of Fond du Lac.

Authorities say the car drifted over the center line and clipped the bumper of an SUV. That caused the car to spin into the other lane where it was hit by the semi.
