Nardini, Vernon Hills outshoot Mundelein
Robby Nardini scored 26 points, including four 3-pointers, and Vernon Hills' boys basketball team defeated visiting Mundelein 72-50 in a North Suburban Conference crossover Thursday night.
Vernon Hills (18-3) also received 18 points from Bo Manso, 13 from Matt Weaver and 11 from Cory Levin. Cougars starting center Lem Turner missed his third straight game due to an injury.
Mundelein (1-19) was led in scoring by Tyler Olson with 15 points and Kevin Marcotte with 11. Malik Doby scored 8 points for the Mustangs.
